If you’d like to work with us after the April 18th deadline, use the links below to request automatic extensions from the IRS and NCDOR.
- REQUEST AN IRS EXTENSION BY MAIL
- No payment is required.
- REQUEST AN IRS EXTENSION ONLINE
- Select “Make a Payment” and state that the reason is due to an extension. Then, make an estimated payment of at least $1.
- NC EXTENSION BY MAIL
- Create a paper form online. Print and mail to NCDOR by April 18th with no payment required.
- NC EXTENSION ONLINE
- File electronically by making an estimated payment of at least $1.
